1 Nidderdale Llamas

2 Valley Gardens
Valley Gardens is a beautiful Park in Low Harrogate, perfect for a relaxed stroll or for a family day out. It is an English Heritage Grade II Listed Garden covering 17 acres of formal gardens, leisure activities and woodland. Historical buildings and the semi-covered Colonades sit nestled amongst a wide variety of shrub, flower and herbaceous beds. The adventure play area is immensely popular especially during the summer season when the paddling pool is a refreshing way to cool down. There are a wide range of sporting activities to try during your visit including; tennis, crazy golf, table tennis, disc golf, pitch and putt as well as a skatepark. For music lovers, band concerts take place on Sunday afternoons throughout the summer.

4. RHS Garden Harlow Carr
RHS Garden Harlow Carr is one of four public gardens run by the Royal Horticultural Society. It is located on the western edge of Harrogate in the English county of North Yorkshire.

6. Ripley Castle
Ripley Castle is a Grade I listed 14th-century country house in Ripley, North Yorkshire, England, some 5 km north of Harrogate. The house is built of coursed squared gritstone and ashlar with grey slate and stone slate roofs.
7. River Nidd Waterside Walk
Explore this beautiful river gorge on this waterside walk in Knaresborough. This circular walk takes you through the wooded gorge before crossing the Nidd Viaduct and returning to Knaresborough through the countryside around Old Bilton.
8. Knaresborough Castle
Knaresborough Castle is a Scheduled Ancient Monument which is owned by the Duchy of Lancaster and maintained by Harrogate Borough Council. The grounds surrounding Knaresborough Castle are opened as a public park and provide a haven in the centre of the town. The Castle is located on top of a high cliff and has dramatic views across to the viaduct and of the River Nidd. The grassed areas are enhanced with mature trees and colourful flowerbeds.
