Sir David Attenborough says if we don't save the bees, humanity will follow them into oblivion in just four years.
This is big news and coming from a trusted source. As a keen gardener I know that bees are a must, if the garden is to bloom. Watching the bees is fascinating, really it is. They don’t stop, jumping from flower to flower, then buzzing across to another flower for more nectar. They are tenacious, starting early dawn and staying on the case, searching for more nectar to take back to the hive.
We can learn from bees. Being tenacious in business is massive, not sitting back and waiting for the phone to ring, an enquiry to land or a prospect to come to us. Brilliant selling needs bee like qualities. It’s head down, search, jump, try a new location, try again, revisit, but above all, stay focused and be a winner!
A little help is always good and so effective networking and operating within a referral culture will bring you leads. According to Sir David, we can help the bees - "mix two tablespoons of white, granulated sugar with one tablespoon of water, and place on a spoon for the bee to reach.” Happy Bee!
When the moment hits and the day seems like a struggle, a slog, hard going, think bees, be inspired and be more bee like.
