My Life Pool... a local lifesaver for parents
Have you heard of My Life Pool? I hadn't until recently, but this great community programme is gaining momentum in Harrogate, providing a non-judgemental, open and honest forum for expectant parents, parents, grandparents... well, pretty much anyone who has involvement with children and childcare.
The hugely useful blog is absolutely stuffed with information, advice and support, helpfully categorised so you can find what you need quickly and easily. Because let's face it, family life is frantic and you don't have time to be searching through unrelated articles.
Whether you are looking for an online forum to connect with like minded parents for discussion, support and advice, or you'd like to take advantage of their face to face meet ups and parenting related courses, this site has it all. Every membership comes with support, reassurance and friendship, built in, not to mention discounts on all sorts of products and services.
The membership fee is modest but you get a lot of bang for your buck and as their home page points out,
"Whatever roles you play within your family, from expectant parent to grandparent, step-parent to foster parent, the people that you rely on for support, reassurance and friendship, become your ‘village’, your community.""
MyLifePool aims to help you to grow your village and you can find out more about it here.
