Even before the great fun and excitement that was the Lionesses triumph in 2022 UEFA Women Championship, Harrogate Railway Junior football club has wanted to give more chances for girls to play football across the age groups:
U7/8
U9/10
U13
U17
Up to the First & Reserve teams
We now offer the chance to learn skills to play football with a smile on their faces. We teach through fun, engaging games and drills improving co-ordination and movement.
As a father of twin girl and boy I was keen to support both my children when they wanted to take part in team sport. My son has played for the u8s for a year now but recently my daughter has started to show an interest, showing me skill techniques on our walks on the stray…..she’d been paying attention.
The first training session will take place this coming Saturday (13 th August) 10.45 – 11.45am at Harrogate High School. The entrance to the field is on the left hand side before you get to the hockey club and we will be training just inside the gates past the containers.
